Matzke, 68...DePere, died Friday evening at a local hospital as a
result of a
traffic accident. The
former Ceil
Petasek was born Sept 5, 1918 in the Town of Eaton to the late Frank
and Bernice
(Ostranga) Petasek, and was a lifelong Green Bay area resident. Ceil and Carl Matzke were
married Sept 21,
1940 at SS Cyril and Methodius Church, Town of Eaton.
She was a member of the St Mary's Christian
Ladies Society and was a communion distributor at St. Mary's Catholic
Church in
DePere. ...Survivors
include her
husband, her children and their spouses, Kenneth and Suzanne Matzke,
Green Bay,
Joyce and Jerome Blink, Tampa, Fl, Roger and Carol Matzke, Wrightstown,
Sally
and Robert Staab, Jr, Two Rivers, Marvin and Mary Matzke, Green Bay,
Doris and
Thomas Grall, Whitelaw, Michael and Geri Matzke, Ashwaubenon...16
grandchildren, one great grandson; her brothers and sisters and their
spouses,
Edin and Lenore Petasek, Alvin and Patricia Petasek, Norbert and Clara
Petasek,
Richard and Dolores Petasek, Robert Sr, and Carol Petasek, Frank Jr,
and
Rosemary Petasek, Clarence and Joyce Petasek, Elsie and Anthony
Gierczak,
Shirley and Sheldon Anderson, and Ethel and Thomas Helgerson, all of
the Green
Bay area; and nieces and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by an infant son, Raymond, two infant sisters,
Lillian
and Alice. Funeral
at St. Mary Church,
DePere. Burial at
Mount Olivet Cemetery.
