HAWES, Doris, age 67 of 2406 D Street passed away Sat., Oct. 16, (1976). She had been a resident of Bellingham for the past 35 years. Surviving are her husband, Guy Hawes Sr.; 4 daughters, Margie Hanstead, Mickey Meyer and Candy Smith all of Bellingham and Doris Vanosdale of Edmonds; 2 sons, Guy of Bellingham and Terry of San Diego; 2 sisters, Nora Waddell, Illinois and Mildred Harrison in Texas; a brother, Horace Tonks in Illinois; also 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Veroskes Bellingham Chapel, Tues. Oct. 16th at 11 a.m. with the Rev. E. N. Lindgren officiating. Mr. Hawes died Friday, Dec. 10, 1993, at his home at 2515 Alvarado St. He was 88. Born Aug. 26, 1905, to Albert G. and Florence Gough Hawes in Brazil, Ind., he married Pauline Conklin in Edwardsville, Ill., on Feb. 18, 1928. Mr. Hawes worked as a coal miner in the Shiloh, Ill. area, was a member of the United Mine Workers, and worked at a lumber company in Belleville, Ill. A member of American Federation of Labor local 276 in Bellingham, he helped build the Georgia Pacific Corp. pulp mill, Bellingham Towers and many homes. A member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, he loved working and gardening. Survivors include his wife of the family home; daughter Pat Cool of Bellingham; four grandchildren, Tim Cool, Wendy Cool and Julie Cool, all of Bellingham, and Jon Cool of Reardon; and one great-grandchild.
HAWES, Guy D. - Memorial services for Guy D. "Happy" Hawes, 87, a retired Western Washington University heating plant engineer, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Bellingham Covenant Church, with Pastor Ken Larson officiating. Mr. Hawes, of 2809 Racine St., died Thursday (Nov. 10, 1988) at his home from an illness he had had for the past decade. He was born Feb. 27, 1901, in Owensboro, Ky. He moved to Bellingham in 1944 to be with relatives, and lived in Bellingham since then. Mr. Hawes worked at Western during the 1950s and 1960s as a heating engineer. He belonged to Elks Lodge No. 194 of Bellingham. He enjoyed dancing, playing pool and visiting friends. Survivors include wife Martha Hawes of the family home; two sons, Guy "Bud" Hawes Jr. of Bellingham and Terry Hawes of San Diego, Calif.; four daughters, LaDonna Meyer and Candy Smith, both of Bellingham, Marjorie Hanstead of Lynden and Doris VanOusdale of Edmonds; a brother Floyd Hawes of Bellingham; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. HAWES, Pauline Viola of Bellingham, WA, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at the age of 94. She was born August 14, 1910, in Lebanon, Illinois to Herbert and Viola (Harris) Conklin. On February 18th, 1928, she married Floyd G. Hawes in Edwardsville, Illinois, and was blessed with her only daughter, Patricia Kay, on March 14, 1938. Floyd and Pauline moved to Bellingham in 1950. They lived on a seven acre city farm on Michigan Street. Pauline sold eggs and worked at the original White House Market. Pauline loved to dance, fish, quilt and sew, and she especially loved a cold beer on a hot day. Her energy and determination were known to all, as was her sense of humor. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Floyd and sister Lucille. She is survived by her daughter Pat Cool and her daughters Julie and Wendy; grandson Tim Cool, his wife Denice and their daughter Sophia of Bellingham, grandson Jon Cool, his wife Cindy, and their sons Jon and Isaac of Aberdeen. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 11th, at 6 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1525 Electric Avenue, Bellingham. Jones|Moles Funeral Home.
HAWES, Vern C. "Bud" age 55, of 2601 N. Park Drive passed away in a local hospital, Sunday May 19, (1963) following an extended illness. Mr. Hawes had been a resident of Bellingham for the past 37 years, was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and was deputy sheriff of Whatcom County. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the Albert J. Hamilton Post No. 7, American Legion, Laurel Post of V.F.W., B.P.O.E. No. 194, Whatcom County Law Enforc. Council, Wash. State Deputy Sheriff's Association, Nat'l Sheriff Ass'n. Wash. State Nursing Ass'n., Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Union Local 1581. He leaves to survive his wife, Nonabelle, on son Jeffrey V., one daughter Angela G. all at the family home; 6 brothers, LaMont of Richmond, Calif., Lyle of Live Oaks, Calif., Farrell and Orlyn both of Seeattle, Virgil of Pasco, and Wynn of Blaine; 4 sisters, Mrs. Iola Hammerland of Seattle, Mrs. Lois Brasch of Newark, N.J., Mrs. Fern Favero of Bremerton, Mrs. Beth Port of New York; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 23 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Westford Funeral Home with Elders Arnold Larson and Alf Gunn officiating followed by the ritualistic services of B.P.O.E. No. 194.
HAWK, Howard A., age 79, of 1094 Kelly Rd., passed away Sun. March 12, (1978). Pioneer resident of Whatcom Co., he was a retired poultry farmer. Served with the U.S. Army during WWI and II, was a member of the William Alexander VFW Post No. 3685, the Laurel Grange, Victor Club, the Blaine Unitarian Church and was a leader and builder and 32 yr. member of the 4-H Club. Surviving are 1 sister, Hazel Simonson, and numerous nieces and nephews including Marilyn Peterson of B'ham. Memorial services will be held in Veroskes Bellingham Chapel, Tues. March 14 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lawrence Guderian officiating. Cremation.

She was born November 26, 1997 in Bellingham. Kadejah was always happy and content,sweet and outgoing. She loved playing games and listening to music; a unique alert little girl, learning to talk,even learning "ewe" which means "no" in the Lummi language. She danced and loved to sign. Kadejah is survived by her parents Deanna Point and Golden Eagle Hawk, Sr. of Ferndale; brother Golden Eagle Hawk, Jr., of Ferndale; grandmothers, Patricia Morris of Bellingham, Ernestine Point of Ferndale; grandfather Dominic Point of Ferndale; great-grandfathers Ron Morris, Sr., of Ferndale, Ernest Jefferson Sr. of Ferndale; great-grandmothers Cecilia Morris of Ferndale, Cecelia Hawk of Squamish; great-grandfather Glen Hawk of Suquamish; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She had been a resident of Whatcom Co since 1923 and was a member of the Garden St. Methodist Church. She was pat secretary for the V.F.W. Auxiliary Laurel Post No. 365 and was past Chaplain of the Laurel Grange No. 208 and a member of the Victor Community Club. She leaves to survive two sons, Donald Hawk of Seattle and Orville and wife Mary Hawk of Oregon; two daughters, Marilyn and husband Gerry Peterson of Bellingham and Patricia and husband John Dailey of Oregon; one sister, Esther Ashworth of Oregon; one sister-in-law Elsie Hawk of California; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wed., Feb. 29 at 2 p.m. in the Jerns LeVeck Funeral Chapel with Rev. Edgar Starr officiating with interment to follow in Greenacres Memorial Park.

A resident of Whatcom County since 1908, he was a retired farmer and served with the United States army during WWI. He was a member of the William Lee Alexander Post 3685 VFW, the DAV, and the Laurel Grange. Surviving are his wife Rachael, in the family home. 2 daughters, Marilyn Peterson of Bellingham and Patricia Dailey of Portland. 2 sons, Donald of Seattle, and Orville of Marysville. A brother, Howard Hawk and a sister Hazel Simonson both of Bellingham. also 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Veroske's Bellingham Chapel, Tuesday, Nov. 12th at 1 p.m. with the Rev. HAWK, Raymond F., Dr., age 86, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 1979 in Lacey, Wa. He was an education teacher at Western Washington University for 20 years. He is survived by the widow Anna F. Hawk; daughter Anna Laura Laird, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; 2 sons: Ray Jr. and Dr. Richard L. Hawk of Edmonds; daughter Thirza Smith of Seattle; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. His widow is making her home with Ray Hawk Jr. in Edmonds, 21516-86th Ave. Memorial services Sept. 20th, 1 p.m. in the Chapel at Panorama City, Lacey.
HAWK, Roy, age 72 of 4915 Samish Way passed away Mon., Dec. 1, 1986 in B'ham. Born April 13, 1914 in Omaha, NE. He had lived in B'ham for the past 7 yrs., was a service department operator for Addressograph and a member of the Central Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Hawk of B'ham; 2 sons, Jack and wife Gail Hawk of Ferndale; Robert and wife Joy Hawk of Lk Oswego, OR; daughter, Pamela and husband Dave Pearce of Ferndale; 6 grandchildren. She was born June 26, 1967, in Bellingham and was a lifetime Whatcom County resident. She lived in Ferndale for five years. She was a member of the Ferndale High School junior class and sang in the school's Concert Choir. She also was a member of Good News Fellowship Church in Ferndale. She is survived by her parents, Jack and Gail Hawk, one brother, grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the good News Fellowship Church, with The Rev. Harold Schroeder officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Greenacres Memorial Park. Skip Suess officiating. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Mrs. Hawk died at her home Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000. She was 83. She was born April 9, 1916, to Guy and Jessie Hargrave Knudtson in Omaha, Neb. On April 12, 1940, she married Roy W. Hawk in Glenwood, Iowa. Mrs. Hawk lived in Omaha and in Bennington, Neb., until 1979, when she moved to Bellingham. Member of Good News Fellowship, she volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. Known for her sense of humor and positive attitude, she enjoyed traveling and entertaining. She was an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. Her husband died in 1986 a son, Robert Hawk, died in 1990 and a granddaughter, Sandi Hawk, died in 1983. Survivors include son Jack Hawk of Ferndale, daughter Pamela Pearce of Bellingham, and five grandchildren.

Mr. Hawke was a retired blacksmith, had resided in Whatcom County for the past 69 years, was a member of Bellingham Bay Lodge No. 44, F.&A.M., and of the William Matthews Post No. 1585, V.F.W. Surviving relatives include his widow, Ivah M. at home and one son, Howard B. of the U.S. Army, stationed at Ft. Nuschus, Ariz. Mrs. Hawkes had been a resident of this community for the past 20 years and was a member of the St. James Presbyterian Church. Surviving relatives are her husband, Joseph, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Lila Blick, of Bellingham; one son, Arthur James, also at home; two granddaughters; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Henderson, of Scotland, and Miss Elizabeth Robertson, also of Scotland; one brother, Tom Robertson, of Spokane, Wash., also two nieces and nephews. HAWKES, Verna M., 55, 3121 Squalicum Parkway, died Sunday (Feb. 1, 1987) in Bellingham. She was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Los Angeles and had lived in Bellingham for the last 37 years. Mrs. Hawkes was a member of Garden Street United Methodist Church and a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Hawkes, of the family home; a son, Michael Hawkes of Bellingham; three daughters, Patricia Hawkes Morgan of Hawaii and Janet and Nancy Hawkes, both of Bellingham; a brother, Kenneth Johnstone of Bothell; and several nieces and nephews. Private memorial services will be conducted. The body will be cremated at Greenacres Crematorium.

Mr. Hawkins who had resided in Bellingham for the past thirty-nine years, leaves to mourn his passing his mother, one daughter, Lillian Hawkins, of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Schumer, of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Hazel Smith, of Santa Barbara, Calif. HAWKINS, Arvid, age 55 years, resident of Blaine Route 1, passed away at home Friday, July 23, (1948) after a brief illness. He first came to Bellingham in 1923, and lived here a number of years, before moving to his farm at Birch Bay. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Bellingham, and is survived by the widow, Olga; one brother, Ernest, in Sweden; one cousin, Olga Menke, of Los Angeles, Calif.; also nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at Monroe's in Ferndale, Tuesday, July 2, at 2 p.m. standard time. Interment in Greenacres Memorial Park.
HAWKINS, Augustus Walker, age 71, of 2818 Broadway, passed away suddenly in Seattle Friday May 30, (1958). Mr. Hawkins had resided in this community for many years, and before his retirement had owned and operated Hawkins Mercantile at Marietta; was a member St. James Presbyterian Church; a life member of B.P.O. Elks No. 194 and a member of Bellingham Bay Lodge No. 44, F.&A.M. Surviving relatives are his widow, Mary A., at home; one son, Dana and one daughter, Mrs. Karl Oberleitner, both of Bellingham; eight grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. E. S. Kale, of Everson; also many nieces and nephews. The remains rest at the Jones Funeral Home where services will be conducted by Rev. Harold K. Mrs. Hawkins had resided in this community for the past 50 years, and she attended the First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Sehome Chapter No. 17. Surviving relatives include her husband, Edward N. Hawkins, at the family home; two sons, Earl E. Hawkins, of Bellingham, and Marvin J., of Ephrata; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Ford, of Emporia, Kansas, and four grandchildren. HAWKINS, Capt. Carl Walter, age 51, of 34 Bucarelli Drive, San Francisco, Calif., passed away in that city Saturday, June 7, (1947). Capt. Hawkins had been the assisting operating manager of the American President Line of San Francisco, was a graduate of the Whatcom high school, W.W.C.E., had worked in the circulation department of The Bellingham Herald, was a member of the Champion Street Baptist church, Whatcom lodge No. 151, F. & A.M., Marine Society and Circumnavigators club, both of New York; the United States Naval Reserve, and served in World War I as an Ensign in the navy. Surviving relatives are the widow, Lauretta and one son, Lawrence, both at home; father, Pehr A., of Bellingham; two brothers, Oscar, of Seattle, and Harold, of Tacoma; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Myers, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mrs. R. G. Sharninghouse, of Bellingham, and Miss Alma Hawkins, of Seattle. The remains will be received by the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth, Sunday, June 8, where services will be conducted by the Rev. HAWKINS, Dana LeRoy, 73, a former Bellingham resident and business owner, died of cancer Thursday (May 3, 1990) in Ocean Park. Mr. Hawkins was born on June 20, 1916, in Ketchikan, Alaska. He had lived in Portland, Ore., since 1965, retiring in 1972. In Bellingham, from about 1942 to 1950, he owned Hawkins Mercantile. He also worked as a commercial painter for several years. Mr. Hawkins was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Alberta Masonic Lodge No. 3602 and Moose Lodge No. 2362. Survivors include his wife, Mary Hawkins, whom he married in July 1954; two daughters, Jessie M. Quon of Portland and Mary H. Brunke of Tualatin, Ore.; a sister, Elaine Oberleitner of Bellingham; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ross Hollywood Chapel in Portland with burial at Chimes Memorial Gardens, also in Portland.
HAWKINS, Earl E., age 60, of 1000 Gerard St., passed away suddenly Tuesday, Oct. 4, (1960). Mr. Hawkins had been a 58-year resident of this community and was a commercial fisherman. He was a member of Bellingham Bay Lodge No. 44, F.&A.M. and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies. Surviving relatives are his widow, Lurline E. at home; father, Edward M. Hawkins of Bellingham; one brother, Marvin J. of Lewiston, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Ford of Emporia, Kan., and four nieces. HAWKINS, Ellen, former resident of Ferndale and Bellingham, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, (1961) at Port Chicago, Calif. Mrs. Hawkins is survived by two sons, Victor of Port Chicago and Herbert of Davenport, Iowa; also three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews including Edwin and Arthur Weden of Ferndale. HAWKINS, Frank "Francis" 80, a former Bellingham resident, died Monday (Aug. 8, 1983) in an Olympia nursing home. He was born Jan. 19, 1903, in Winona, Mo. In 1923, he moved to Aberdeen. He was on the Aberdeen Police Department five years. He was with the Washington State Patrol in Bellingham for 13 years. He was transferred to Hoquiam in 1949 and resigned from the WSP in 1952. He then worked as head saw filer for E.C. Miller. He retired in 1967. He moved to Olympia in 1971 and had resided there since. He was a member of Whatcom Lodge 151, F&AM, Bellingham; Eagles Aerie 24, Aberdeen; Modern Woodmen of America; United Commercial Travelers and Wally Byron Caravan Club International, a travel trailer club. Survivors include his wife Margaret, a daughter, three grandchildren, a brother and three sisters. At the family's request, there will be no funeral services. Private inurnment will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary, Hoquiam.

HAWKINS, Herman Lee, age 62, of 2210 Monroe St., passed away Wednesday, April 4, 1984. Mr. Hawkins was born November 20, 1915 in Mankato, Kansas to Ralph B. and Fannie Hawkins. He lived in Colorado and married Ethel Brooks Dec. 25, 1940. In Dec. 1953, he and his family moved to Washington where he worked as a mechanic, truck driver and plywood worker, in addition to operating Hawkins Grocery for 11 years and retiring in 1974. Mr. Hawkins always took his family to church and was currently attending Hillcrest Chapel. HAWKINS, Ned S., 77, former manager of the Washington State Liquor Control Board store in Ferndale, died Saturday, (July 30, 1988) at a Blaine nursing home. Mr. Hawkins, 1215 Harrison Ave., Blaine, was born Sept. 14, 1910, in Bellingham and lived in Whatcom County all of his life. He was the manager of the Washington State Liquor Store in Ferndale for 15 years before retiring. From 1945 to 1957, he was co-owner of Superior Cleaners of Blaine, Ferndale and Bellingham. He was a member of the Ferndale American Legion, Post No. 154, and the Blaine Senior Center. He enjoyed golfing. Survivors include his wife, Lela Hawkins, of Blaine; a son, Charles Hawkins of Blaine; two daughters, Nedra Hawkins of Blaine and Candy Hawkins of Custer; and four grandchildren. HAWKINS, Oscar E., age 67, a 13-year resident of this community passed away at 1817 Knox St. Friday, Mar. 25, (1960). Mr. Hawkins was a retired plumbing contractor, and during the recent war had been associated with the Seattle Shipyards as the plumbing foreman. He was a member of the Champion St. Baptist Church and a member of Tyee Lodge, F. & A.M. in Seattle. Mr. Hawkins was a member of the Champion Street Baptist Church and was a retired member of the Puget Sound Power & Light Co. force, being a member of their 25-Year Club. Surviving relatives are two sons, Oscar, at Seattle, and Harold, at Tacoma; three daughters, Mrs. R. G. HAWKINS, Tony A., age 82, of 5751 Sterling Ave. No. 2, Ferndale, passed away in Bellingham Dec. 4, 1986. He was born in Blaine, WA, Oct. 1, 1904, was a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion Post 154, Ferndale, was affiliated with the dry cleaning industry most of his life starting in Ketchikan, Alaska in the mid 20's, in the 30's he moved to Seattle and became manager of the New Richmond Cleaners and held that position until he enlisted in the service in 1943, he moved to Ferndale in 1945 and was a partner in the Superior Cleaners of Ferndale & Bellingham until his retirement in 1973. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football & baseball in his retirement years. Survivors include 2 sons, Vernon & wife Merriel of Ferndale, Tony Jr. & wife Donna of Lacey; 1 brother, Ned & wife Lela of Blaine; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; 1 nephew. HAWKINS, Vernon Anthony, "Bud" age 77, of Ferndale, passed away Sat., Oct. 17, 1998 at St. Joseph Hospital, following a brief respiratory illness. He was born Sept. 27, 1921 in Custer to Tony and Delia (Wampler) Hawkins and had been a lifetime Whatcom County resident. During WWII, Bud served in the U.S. Air Force in Italy, Sardinia and North Africa. Following his military service, Bud, his father and Uncle Ned Hawkins started the laundry and dry cleaning business "Superior Cleaners" with the main laundry facility located in downtown Ferndale and collection offices in Blaine, Laurel and three Bellingham locations. Bud was a member of the United Church of Ferndale; lifetime member of the American Legion, Kulshan Post #154 in Ferndale; past member of the Ferndale Lions Club; Bellingham Elks Lodge; and Bellingham Yacht Club. He married Merriel Vinson on April 27, 1942 in Stanwood, WA. Survivors include his wife Merriel of the family home; Merriel's mother, Dorothy Vinson; daughter Carol Ann Donelson and husband Jim of Ferndale; son Dick Hawkins and wife Betty of Ferndale; 3 grandchildren, Curt Hawkins and wife Cathy of Monroe, Craig Hawkins and wife Jennifer of Bellingham, Kasandra Saskin and husband Jerry of Ferndale; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Tony Hawkins of Olympia; and numerous other family members. A memorial service will be held Thurs., Oct. 22, 1 p.m. at United Church of Ferndale, with Rev. Heather Mordhurst officiating.

HAWKINS, William Gideon, age 90, of 1706 Iowa St., passed away in a local hospital Wednesday, Sept. 24, (1958). Mr. Hawkins had resided in this community for the past 47 years; was a member and deacon of the First Christian Church and a member of the 90 and 9 Club and the Christian Men's Fellowship Group of the Church. Survivors are three sons, Lyle W., and Hubert R., both of Bellingham, and Floyd S., of San Pedro, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Beck of Bellingham; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Fred J. A. Hawkins of Everett; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Holmes of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Leah Williamson of Fredonia, Kan. Private services were conducted from the Jones Funeral Home by the Rev. Walter R. Naff, Thursday, Sept. 25, at 3 p.m. Final resting place, Greenacres Memorial Park.
HAWKINSON, Arthur M., our dear father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at the age of 90. He was born on February 21, 1917 in the Whitehorn Community near Blaine, WA to Emil and Corine Hawkinson. He graduated from Blaine High School in 1935. Art is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret (Gienger) Hawkinson; his sons, Edward Hawkinson of Kirkland, WA, Larry Hawkinson (Norma Dean) of Green River, Utah, Ken Hawkinson (Merletta) of Kansas City, KS; and daughter, Ginny Gillespie (Stan) of Bellingham; along with 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Art is also survived by his sisters, Mabel Karber of Lynden and Sylvia Jarman of Milton, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Art is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David, Clarence and Carl; sister, Ethel; and his daughter-in-law, Catherine. A welder and shipwright by trade, Art retired from Weldit Tank and Steel in 1985, after many years of loyal service. He was a member of the Boiler Makers Union. His favorite hobby in his retirement years was sharing his stories with friends. Art was a loving, active member of Immanuel Bible Church and helped build the existing structure. His face would light up when talking of heaven and he looked forward to being with his Savior. Two of his goals were to make it to 90 years of age and to pass away in his Bellingham home. He accomplished both of those goals. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Bible Church, 2000 W. North Street in Bellingham. Hawkinson of Custer will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Greenacres Funeral Home in Ferndale, with the Rev. Lee Greene of Sunrise Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Mr. Hawkinson died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, in Bellingham. He was 77. Born March 7, 1923, to Emil and Corinne (Lawrence) Hawkinson in Blaine, he grew up in the Whitehorn District and was a lifetime Whatcom County resident. On Aug. 30, 1946, he married Hazel Dyck in Bellingham. Mr. Hawkinson worked in construction during his early years and then worked for the Washington State Highway Department for 22 years. Mr. Hawkinson was a member of the Custer Volunteer Fire Department and served as a commissioner for Fire District No. 13. He also was a member of Custer Gun Club and served as a Boy Scouts of America master in Custer for Troop No. 33. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, of the family home sons Dennis Hawkinson of Ferndale and Terry Hawkinson of Deer Park sisters Mabel Karber of Lynden and Sylvia Jarman of Seattle brothers Art Hawkinson of Bellingham and David Hawkinson of Seattle six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was born to Jacob and Kathryn Dyck in Wolf Point, Montana in 1925. She married Carl Hawkinson and spent their entire marriage in the Custer area. Carl preceded her in death in 2000. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ervin, Harv, and Herb Dyck; and her sisters, Linda Kelstrup and Hilda Nolan. Hazel is survived by sons, Dennis Hawkinson and wife, Gudlaug, Terry Hawkinson and wife, Connie; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, LeRoy Dyck of Loon Lake and Donald Dyck of Bellingham; and numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel devoted her early years to being a mother and homemaker for her loving family. She worked several years at Yeager's and later in life worked with Avon. She is known around Custer for her famous cinnamon rolls and for the coffee pot that was always on. Hazel was a loving and caring mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. Her wonderful smile, quick wit and open arms will be sorely missed. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2005 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the Greenacres Moles Funeral Home Chapel, with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Greenacres Moles Cemetery following the Funeral Service.

HAWKINSON, Margaret - July 11, 1923 -September 23, 2009 - Margaret (Marge) Hawkinson, our dear mother and grandmother went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the age of 86. She was born on July 11, 1923 in Vegreville, Alberta Canada, to Adam and Magdalena Gienger. Margaret is survived by her sons: Edward Hawkinson (Elisa) of Kirkland, WA; Larry Hawkinson (Norma Dean) of Green River, Utah; Ken Hawkinson (Merletta) of Kansas City, Kansas and daughter, Ginny Gillespie (Stan) of Bellingham; along with 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by her brother, Albert Gienger of Bellingham and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Marvin Hawkinson, her parents, her brothers: Ryan, Ernie, Bill, Ted and Alias. She is also preceded in death by her twin sister, Maggie and sisters: Frieda and Millie, and daughter-in-law, Catherine. Margaret worked several years in food service for the Bellingham School District, at one time baking 70 pies per day at Bellingham High School. She later started her own business doing wallpaper and interior painting for her many clients and friends. She loved to serve at Immanuel Bible Church where she and her husband were charter members. If the sanctuary needed redecorating or the choir needed new robes, she was more than willing to take on the project and enlist other members to help. For 15+ years she recruited and took a team of 5-8 people to Alaska to serve in the kitchen at Victory Bible Camp for the month of May. She loved to serve the Lord. HAWKS, R. Dean of 168 E. Smith Road, passed away at his residence, Sunday, August 23, (1981) at the age of 61. Born in Utah, he entered the Second World War in November, 1941; and was a member of the 441st Bombardment Squadron 320the Bomb Group. He received 5 battle stars, including the Northern & Southern French Campaign, the Rome-Anzio, Rhineland, & Central European Campaign. He was awarded Croix DeGuerre with Palm, Purple Heart, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, American Defense, & Good Conduct Medal. In his later years he was an auto mechanic for Hintons. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Bellingham Post of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife Clysta, 2 daughters, Julie & husband Ron Seybold of Spokane; Penny & husband James Haehm of Oak Harbor; 3 brothers, David in Idaho; Eardley & Russell of Utah; 4 sisters, Edna Steed of Utah; Florence Whitaker & Margie Carter, both of Idaho; & Betty Stilwell of Oregon; 2 grandchildren, Shane & Sean Zettle; numerous other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 27, 1981 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Veroske, Jerns & LeVeck. Interment and full military honors will be rendered in Greenacres Memorial Park.
HAWLEY, Belle, 98, of 2185 Seamount Drive, Ferndale, died in Bellingham on Friday, Jan. 20, 1995. She was born April 28, 1896 to William and Margaret Saar Sleasman in Nooksack. She married Ray Hawley on Dec. 22, 1915 in Bellingham. They owned and operated Legoe Bay Diner on Lummi Island from 1938 to 1946 and she was the cook. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray and a son Ray Hawley Jr. Mrs. Hawley was a member of Lynden Pioneer Museum, Clamdiggers Association, Old Settlers Association and a past member of Bellingham and Ferndale senior centers, Northwood Grange and Jolly Minglers Club of Lynden. Survivors include three daughters, Thelma and husband Bert Isackson of Blaine, Alberta and husband Marvin Small of Ferndale and June Kowsky, Bellingham; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother Homer and wife Ruth Sleasman of Portland, Ore. Graveside services were held today at Greenacres Memorial Park with Pastor Ralph Poulson officiating. Arrangements were under the care of Moles Funeral Home, Ferndale.
HAWLEY, Bradford Grant - Funeral services for Bradford Grant "Brad" Hawley of Everson will be conducted by Pastors Craig Hardinger and Bob Marvel on Friday, June 28, at 11:00 a.m. in the Nooksack Valley Baptist Church. Burial will be in Ten Mile Cemetery following a fellowship hour at the church. Brad died suddenly on Saturday, June 22, at Bonaparte Lake near Tonasket. He was 44. Brad was the son of Emmett Ray "Bud" and Alice (Doupe) Hawley and was born in Bellingham on July 25, 1957. A life-time county resident, he graduated from Sehome High School in 1975 and was married to Heidi Harding in Bellingham on February 14, 1998. Brad was employed as a sheet metal worker through the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #66. He had attended Cornwall Church and most recently Nooksack Valley Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping with their RV, reading, metal art, but most of all he loved God, his family and friends. Brad is survived at home by his wife Heidi and sons Brian and Justin Hawley at home mother Alice Hawley of Lynden brothers Emmett Halpin of Wakefield, Massachusetts, Craig Hawley of Bellingham and Todd Hawley of Ferndale and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. services are under the care of Gillies Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Lynden.

HAWLEY, Clyde - Lynden native Clyde Merle Hawley, 77, died Monday, April 20, 1992 at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs, Calif. Hawley graduated from Lynden High School. He served in the Navy during World War II and worked in liquor sales for 14 years. He is survived by a son, Douglas of British Columbia, and a niece, Betty LaCroix of Palm Springs.

HAWLEY, Dorothy A., of Bellingham, passed away Thurs., March 7, 2002. She was 100. Born April 7, 1901 to Edwin & Ida (Griffin) Day, in Massena, New York. She moved to Bellingham in 1918 and married Myron Hawley in 1923. They became farmers in the Wiser Lake area. Mrs. Hawley was active in many community affairs and was a member of the Laurel Baptist Church. Her husband preceded her in death in 1970. He was born Feb. 20, 1925 n Lynden. Mr. Hawley served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and in the Korean War as a first class petty officer. He worked for 36 years as a meat cutter for Ennen's Food Stores, until his retirement at the Ennen's at 1030 Lakeway Drive. He was a member of United Food & Commercial Workers Union, Local No. 44. Mr. Hawley formerly served the Geneva Volunteer Fire Department, achieving the rank of captain. An avid hunter, fisherman and archer, he also enjoyed gardening and collecting coins. Survivors include his wife, Alice of the family home; parents, Ray and Bell Hawley of Ferndale; sons, Emmett Halpin of Boston, Craig Hawley of Bellingham, Brad Hawley of Everson and Todd Hawley of Ferndale; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three sisters, Thelma Isaackson of Blaine, Alberta Small of Ferndale and June Kowsky of Bellingham; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hawley, formerly of 301 Hawley St., Lynden, was born [July 10, 1894] in Niles Center, Ill., and has been a Lynden resident since 1900. A member of the Christian Science Church, Mrs. Hawley was also a member of the Jolly Minglers Club and the Amphyction Club. On Jan. 6, 1914 she was married to her husband, Frank, in Lynden; Mr. Hawley died in 1960. She is survived by a son, Bruce and wife Hilda of Stanwood; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elsina Hawley of Klammath Falls, Ore.; five grand and eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Viola Gosch of Redlands, Calif.; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by a son, Forrest, in 1975. Services were under the direction of Gillies Funeral Home, Lynden.

HAWLEY, Gerald O. of 2726 Alderwood Ave. died Thursday, April 22, 1993, in Bellingham. He was 88. A family graveside service will be held Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at First Congregational Church in Bellingham with the Rev. Cynthia Bauleke officiating. Mr. Hawley was born June 23, 1904, in Hesperia, Mich., to Glenn and Arvilla Hawley. He was a member of Arlington Lodge No. 129 F & AM, and a charter life member and past president of Arlington Lions Club. He also was a member of Scottish Rite Bodies and Fairhaven Lions Club. He was also a member of Scottish Rite Bodies and Fairhaven Lions Club. His wife, Verla Slater Hawley, preceded him in death on March 14, 1990. He is survived by sons Gerald O. Hawley Jr. of Birch Bay and Glen Slater Hawley of Olympia; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Jones-Moles Funeral Home.
HAWLEY, Harold E. (Pete), age 67 of 1214 W. North St., passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, April 13, (1976). A retired millwright, he made his home in Bellingham since 1950 and was a member of the carpenters Local 756. Surviving are his wife, Martha at home; two sons, James L. and John Ivan Hawley both of Bellingham; a daughter, Barbara Smith of Kent, Wa.; a brother, Hersel of Seattle; a sister, Eva Smith of Long Beach, Calif; also 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services to be held in Veroske's Bellingham Chapel, Friday April 16 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gerald Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park.
HAWLEY, Irving H., age 87 of Sebastopol, CA, family graveside services will be Friday, March 15 at 3 p.m. at Bayview Cemetery, memorial service Saturday March 16 at 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church with Donel G. McClellan Pastor officiating. Mr. Hawley passed away Friday March 8, he'd been a Bellingham resident since 1910 to 1979 he was operator of Hawley Poultry Farm in Bellingham from 1923 until 1962. Was a 1928 graduate of Washington State University. He also served as the Assistant County Agricultural Agent for Poultry & 4H Clubs in Grays Harbor County from 1928 through 1931. Mr. Hawley was a 50 year member of the Kiwanis Club & a member of the First Congregational Church of Bellingham, & U.C.C. Community Church in Sebastopol, CA, a member of the Republican party, Marietta Grange, Pioneer Assoc. of State of Washington, Washington State University Alumni Assoc., Western Washington State University Alumni Assoc. He is survived by son Irving Hawley Jr., 2 grandchildren Jessica & Christopher Hawley all of Sebastopol, CA, 2 brothers Royal T. "Jim" Hawley of Mukilteo, WA, Donald V. HAWLEY, James V. "Vern", 88, of 2284 N. Nugent Road, Lummi Island, passed away Feb. 2, 1992, in Bellingham. He was born to pioneer family Lydia and Robert Emmett Hawley on Jan. 10, 1904 in Lynden. He and his wife Leona owned and operated Hawley's Fishing Resort on Lummi Island from 1937 until the late 1960's. Survivors include his wife, Leona, of the family home; a daughter, Norma McDonald of Lynden; two sons, Jim Hawley Jr. and wife Bonnie of Ferndale and Bill and wife Claire of Lummi Island; three brothers, Ray of Ferndale, Clyde of Palm Springs, Calif. and Clarence of Seattle; a sister, Ruby; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Leo. A memorial service was held Friday at the Grange Hall of Lummi Island. Cremation was handled by Greenacres Crematorium. Arrangements were under the care of Moles Funeral Home.

The remains are at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. Russell Gregg Bisnett, Thursday, June 28, at 2:00 p.m. Final resting place, Bay View.
HAWLEY, Johanne M., age 76, 911 Nevada St., passed away Tuesday April 17, 1979. She was a 38 year resident of this community, a graduate of Washington State University and for a number of years served as a secretary and as a teacher in schools of Washington & California. She was a staff member of the Upton Close Cultural Expeditions to China and Japan in the summers of 1929-1932. Mrs. Hawley was a member of the First Congregational Church and the American Association of University Women. HAWLEY, Marta Irene, age 74, of 2818 Old Fairhaven Parkway, Bellingham, passed away Thursday, December 13, 1990. Born January 15, 1916 in Jamtland Province, Sweden, she immigrated to Canada at the age of 8 and was raised in Vancouver, B.C., moving to the Yukon when she was 18 years of age, married Capt. Richard Hawley in Dawson, Yukon Territory, in 1936, living Yukon Territory and Fairbanks, AK until moving to Seattle during World War II. In 1967 they moved to Camano Island and to Bellingham in 1985. She was employed by the U.S. Army Intelligence during the war and was a member of Alaska Yukon Pioneers. Survived by: her daughter, Susan Corkery and husband Landry of Bellingham; son Richard Bronson Hawley of Roslyn, WA; two grandchildren, Landry Corkery, Jr. and Jon Corkery, both of Bellingham. Preceded in death by her husband Richard Walter Hawley, June 10, 1990. Memorial Service Tuesday, December 18, 11:00 a.m. at Jones-Moles Funeral Home with Chaplain Harold Minkler officiating. HAWLEY, Martha Louise of 3121 Squalicum Parkway died Wednesday, March 24 1993. She was 81. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon today at Jerns & LeVeck Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Jerns & LeVeck. Burial will follow at Greenacres Cemetery. Mrs. Hawley was born June 2 1911 in Pendleton, Ore., to Lewis Greenwood and Arvilla Hargrove Wiley. She moved to Whatcom County in 1950 where she was a member of Cornwall Park Church of God, Carpenter's Auxiliary, and Tops No. 209. Mrs. Hawley was a volunteer at Shuksan Middle School, St Joseph Hospital, and St Luke's Hospital RSVP and at the Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold E "Pete" Hawley in 1976. Survivors include sons James L. Hawley and Jon L. Hawley, both of Bellingham; daughter Barbara Hawley Smith of Kent; brother Charles A Winter of Woodinville; sisters Alice Cooper of California and Virginia Smathers of Seattle; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hawley had resided in this community for the past 21 years and was a member of the Garden Street Methodist Church. Surviving relatives are one son, Elmer N., of Redmond; one daughter, Mrs. Marion Wilson, of Kirkland; six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Alta M. Guiler, of Bellingham. The remains were forwarded by the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth to Killam, Alberta, Canada for services and interment.
HAWLEY, Ray, 96, of 2185 Seamont Drive, Ferndale, passed away in Ferndale Feb. 26, 1992. He was born to Robert and Lydia (Sheffer) Hawley on March 22, 1895 in Lynden. He was a lifetime resident of Whatcom County. He was a charter member of the Lynden Pioneer Museum and a member of Clam Diggers Association of Lynden, Old Settlers Association of Ferndale and Bellingham and Ferndale senior centers. He was a past member of the Northwood Grange, where he was Master for several years, the Dairgold Association and Lynden Co-op. Mr. Hawley was an avid gardener and specialized in producing tulips, asparagus and filberts. He and his wife owned and operated Lego Bay Restaurant on Lummi Island for many years. His hobbies included wood carving and fishing on the Nooksack River. He married Belle Sleeasman on Dec. 22, 1915. He was preceded in death by his son, Ray Hawley Jr. in May 1990. He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Belle Hawley of the family home; three daughters, Thelma and husband Bert Isackson of Blaine, Alberta and husband Marvin Small of Ferndale and June Kowsky of Bellingham; a daughter-in-law, Alice Hawley of Bellingham; 13 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren and 17-great-great-grandchildren; one half-sister, Ruby Reid of Seattle; two half-brothers, Clarence Hawley of Seattle and Clyde Hawley of California. Graveside services were held Tuesday at Greenacres Memorial Park with Pastor Harold Schroeder officiating. Arrangements were made by Moles Funeral Home.

Mr. Hawley, 81, of 2818 Old Fairhaven Parkway, died Sunday (June 10, 1990). He was born March 7, 1909, in Pioneer, Iowa, and had been a Bellingham resident since 1986. Mr. Hawley was a member of Alaska Yukon Pioneers and was employed as a captain with Pan-American Airlines for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Irene; a daughter, Susan Corkery of Bellingham; a son, Richard Hawley of Roslyn, Wash.; two sisters, Betty Kelso of Portola, Calif., and Susan Freeman of La Jolla, Calif.; and two grandchildren. HAWLEY, Robert A. "Robby", age 23 of Bellingham/Stanwood was killed in a motorcycle accident July 26. Robby was born Jan 16, 1983 in Bellingham and attended High School in Stanwood. He resided in Bellingham, attended WCC and worked for his family at Boat Country in Everett. Robby is survived by his parents, Bob and Shannon Hawley of Stanwood, brother Tylor Hawley of Stanwood, Grandparents Richard Hawley & Liz Balas, Tom Hooper and the late Marlys Hooper, MaryAnn Mallahan and the late Mat Mallahan, aunts and uncles; Tami and Greg Eiford, the late Dianne Hawley Mosier, Brian and Christy Hawley, Jim and Diane Mallahan, the late Mat Mallahan and Cheryl, Tim and Paula Mallahan, Michael Mallahan, David Mallahan and Marcia Mallahan, cousins; Greg, Austin, Max, Zach, Isaac, Mitch, Selina, Mark, Meghan, Maddie and Kelsey and numerous great aunts, uncles, second cousins. And friends. Robby will be best remembered for his enthusiasm for life, the love he had for his family and friends and his big white smile. HAWLEY-FOSTER, Frankie Delphine - A memorial service for Frankie Delphine Hawley-Foster, 48, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenacres Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harold Minkler officiating. Mrs. Hawley-Foster, of 1801 Summit St., died Saturday (June 8, 1991) at home. She was born to Chester and Vivien Harvey on March 15, 1943, in Seattle and lived in Bellingham for the past 30 years. She graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle. Mrs. Hawley-Foster worked as emergency ward secretary at St. Joseph Hospital South Campus. She also was a volunteer for the Laurendeau Foundation for Cancer Care. She enjoyed friends and work, her cat, practical jokes and crafts. Survivors include her mother, Vivien Johnson of Corvallis, Ore.; a daughter, Suzanne Gilliland of Bellingham; and a son, Robert Gilliland of Bellingham.
HAWORTH, John W. - A graveside service for John W. "Wes" Haworth of Bellingham will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Marvin Knutzen of St. John's Lutheran Church officiating and joint military honors by Albert J. Hamilton, American Legion Post No. 7 and William Matthews Post No. 1585, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Haworth died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, in Bellingham. He was 80. Born Aug. 22, 1919, to Louis J. and Vera E. (Newell) Haworth in Mabton, he had been a Whatcom County resident since 1944. In 1941, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard and later was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor. On April 14, 1944, he married Inez Mollan in Seattle and he returned to Whatcom County in 1946, after his military service. Mr. Haworth was a dockworker and kiln operator for Columbia Cement of Bellingham until his retirement in 1985. Mr. Haworth was a member of William Matthews Post No. 1585, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Pearl Harbor Survivors Association North Cascade Chapter No. 5. He enjoyed reading, music and playing his mandolin and organ. His brothers Roy, Art, Floyd and Delbert Haworth preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, of Bellingham daughters Elaine Kim of Renton and Kathy Champion of Bullhead City, Ariz. son Wes Haworth of Ferndale brothers Ernest Haworth of Tacoma and Jim Haworth of Prosser sisters Amy Martin of Bremerton, Mabel Johnson of Puyallup and Dorothy Bement of Tacoma seven grandchildren four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Ferndale with the Rev. Ralph Poulson officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn - Southwest Cemetery in Bakersfield, Calif. Mrs. Haws died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1993, at Providence Hospital in Everett. She was 75. Born Jan. 19, 1918, to Emil and Anna (Reese) Boe in Ravenna, Neb., she married Russell D. Haws in Bakersfield in 1749. They lived in Bakersfield until they moved to Whatcom County three years ago. Her husband died in 1992. Survivors include son Bruce Haws of Ferndale; sister Grace Schreifer of Perry, Iowa; brother Vern Boe of Oceanside, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
HAWS, Wynn Eugene, of 8585 Harbor View Rd., Blaine. The former Blaine Mayor, Wynn Haws passed away at home Dec. 7, 1988. Born Jan. 31, 1911 in Malad, ID. Mr. Haws came to B'ham in 1926, graduated from B'ham High School in 1929 & also attended B'ham Normal School. Married Lillian Ann McKinley Nov. 4, 1933. He was a commercial artist for 60 yrs., also owning several businesses in B'ham & Blaine. In 1946 the family moved to Blaine where he owned Blaine Amusement Company. Very civic minded he was a member of the Active Club, Lions Club & Elks Club while in B'ham. President of Blaine Chamber of Commerce several terms & 2 term mayor of Blaine, recently joining Kiwanis International of Blaine. Survivors include wife Lillian (Pat) at home, daughters, Sharon Haws Cole of Burlington, Genee' Wynn Haws & Candis Haws Keller; son, Wynn Eliot Haws all of Blaine; grandchildren, Joni Tingley, Warren Cole, Garret Cole, Cory Anderson, Boyd Anderson & Nicole Haws; great-granddaughters, Brandy, Casey Jean & Wesley Cole; great-grandson, Wynn Gordon Tingley; sisters, Mary Fern of Seattle, Lois Brasch of New Jersey & Beth Port of New York; numerous nieces & nephews. Memorial service will be held at the B'ham Elks where Mr. Haws was a 50 yr. member on Sat., Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. Arrangements by Jerns McKinney Funeral Chapel.
HAWTHORN, Philip John, age 41, of Alger, WA passed away on the 18th of September, 2006. The son of Delores and John Hawthorn, he was raised in Seneca, Missouri. Philip was employed by Skagit Valley Hospital as an operating room technologist. He was a loving father and husband who enjoyed hunting, Fishing, and camping with his family. He served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years. He is survived by his wife and three children, his mother, brother and sister. He will be missed. A memorial will be held 3:00 September 22nd at Enterprise Cemetery in Ferndale. Reception to follow at the Glenhaven neighborhood clubhouse.
