These records were extracted by WGS Members, Bob Witherspoon and Jim and Iris Martin, from an original book at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2117 Walnut Street, Bellingham WA, with the permission of the Rev. John W. GIBBS, Rector of St. Paul's, and the help of Pearl SWEENEY and Cherie LITTLE, St. Paul's Church Secretaries. The oldest record book on hand at St. Paul's begins with entries dated about seven years after St. Paul's was established; however, data in this book can be interpreted as being records of the coexisting St. James' Episcopal Church, Fairhaven, rather than of St. Paul's. Most of the following records are of ceremonies conducted by the Rev. L. W. APPLEGATE, who lived in Fairhaven and was probably rector of St. James. |

These confirmation records were copied from an original book at St.
Paul's Episcopal Church, Bellingham, Washington by WGS Member, Bob Witherspoon.
However, since the Reverend L. W. APPLEGATE is identified as "Rector" for
these ceremonies, this record book most likely is from St. James' Episcopal
Church, Fairhaven, Washington.
The "Confirmed" record sheets include day/date of confirmation, names of the Bishop and Rector, names of those being confirmed, ages, and whether Baptism was as an adult or infant.
