Burlington: Ullery Publishing Company, 1912, pp 239-240 Dr. John Hunton JUDKINS, physician, Northfield [Washington County, Vermont], was born 11 February 1867 at Prescott [Pierce County], Wisconsin, son of Zopher M. and Chloe Josephine (BAILEY) JUDKINS. He was educated in the public schools of Prescott, Wisconsin, and at Charlestown [Sullivan County], New Hampshire. Graduated from Norwich University with the degree of B. L. in 1890, and graduated from Baltimore Medical College in 1893. Began the practice of medicine in Northfield in 1893; later purchased the drug business of the late Edwin PORTER, M. D., continuing the drug business and his medical practice to date. Member of Congregational church. Member of De Witt Clinton Lodge No. 15, Free & Accepted Masons, and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. In 1901 was elected head physician of the Modern Woodmen of America.
