Dean W. EDSON, printer, Montpelier [Washington County, Vermont], was born 05 
September 1874 at Marshfield [Washington County, Vermont], son of Ira H. and 
Eunice T. EDSON. Educated in the public schools. Commenced business in 1902 
as owner and manager of a job printing office. Unitarian. Member of Aurora 
Lodge No. 22, Free & Accepted Masons, master in 1904; King Solomon Chapter 
No. 7, Royal Arch Masons; Montpelier Council No. 4, Royal & Select Masons; 
Mount Zion Commandery No. 9, Knights Templar; Mount Sinai Temple, Ancient 
Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine; Montpelier Lodge, Benevolent 
Protective Order of Elks; and has been a member of Montpelier Military Band 
eighteen years. In 1898 he [Dean W. EDSON] married [Miss?] Ella M. CHANDLER 
of Middlesex [Washington County, Vermont]; they have three children: Marcia 
H., Elroy W., and Esther E.
