CAVE, Jr., bank cashier, Barre [Washington County, Vermont], was born 16 July 1870 at Berlin [Washington County, Vermont], son of Thomas H. and Frances C. (DODGE) CAVE. Educated at Montpelier Union School. Was secretary of the Granite Manufacturers' Association 1899-1901; was employed as bookkeeper and teller at the National Bank of Barre 1902-1906; was assistant cashier 1906-1907; has been cashier since that date. Republican; was a member of the Republican city committee, 1910; represented Barre in the Legislature 1910; was chairman of the house committee on banks and member of two other committees. Church preference is Methodist Episcopal. Member of Granite Lodge No. 35, Free & Accepted Masons, Granite Chapter No. 26, Royal Arch Masons, and also belongs to the Vincitia Club, at Barre.
