Heber C. CADY, banker, Northfield, was born 30 Sep 1870 at Northfield 
[Washington County, Vermont], son of Henry Clay and Paulina (BARR) CADY. 
Educated at the Northfield graded and high schools; Norwich University, class 
of 1891. Has been connected with Northfield Savings Bank since 1891; is 
trustee; treasurer since 1901; also trustee and treasurer of Norwich 
University. Republican. Trustee, village of Northfield; has held several 
other town offices; represented Northfield in the Legislature, 1906.

In 1901 Mr. [Heber C.] CADY married [Miss?] Gertrude H. LEE of Middlebury 
[Addison County, Vermont]; they have one child. Mr. CADY is treasurer of the 
First Congregational Church at Northfield; member and treasurer of DeWitt 
Clinton Lodge No. 5, Free & Accepted Masons, Northfield; member King Solomon 
Chapter No. 7, Royal Arch Masons, Montpelier; member Montpelier Council No. 
4, Royal & Select Masons; member Mt. Zion Commandery No. 9, Knights Templar, 
Montpelier; also belongs to Mt. Sinai Temple, Mystic Shrine; is treasurer of 
Dog River Valley Fair Association.
