Burlington: Ullery Publishing Company, 1912, p 125 Herman David BONE, physician, Waterbury [Washington County, Vermont], was born 14 March 1878 in Wells River [Orange County, Vermont], son of William and Ellen (SMITH) BONE. Educated at Wells River High School, graduate of class of 1898; received the degree of B. S. from the University of Vermont in 1901, and his M. D. degree at the University of Vermont Medical College in 1904. In 1905 he [Dr. Herman David BONE] married [Miss?] Bertha May DAVIS of Wells River. They have two children, Charlotte Davis and Harriet Eleanor. Dr. BONE is assistant physician at the Vermont State Hospital for the Insane, and has been continuously employed on the staff there since graduation. He is a Congregationalist, and a member of Winooski Lodge No. 49, Free & Accepted Masons, of Waterbury.
