George N. BILLINGS, Waitsfield [Washington County, Vermont], was born 28 July 
1862 at Fayston [Washington County, Vermont], son of Count DeEstaing and 
Almina M. (ROYCE) BILLINGS. Educated in the public schools. Manufacturer 
and dealer in lumber for twenty-five years. Has lived in Waitsfield for the 
past sixteen years, with the exception of one year spent in Montpelier 
[Washington County, Vermont]; engaged in general merchandise business for 
past five years. Independent in politics. Former town treasurer of Fayston; 
town grand juror Waitsfield. No religious preference. Member Mad River 
Lodge No. 77, Free & Accepted Masons, of Waitsfield. George N. BILLINGS 
married [Miss?] Emma H. BAIRD of Waitsfield; they have two children: E. 
Jassamine, and Carroll D.
