Burlington: Ullery, 1912, p 93 Edward S. ABBOTT, Montpelier, Washington County, Vermont, was born on 02 October 1882, son of Oscar W. and Eliza (MATHEWS) ABBOTT. He was educated at Derby Academy [Orleans County, Vermont] and the University of Vermont, receiving a Ph. B. in 1909. He was Principal of Milton High School [Chittenden County, Vermont], 1903 to 1905, and since 1909 has been Principal of Montpelier High School [Montpelier, Washington County, Vermont]. In religious preference Mr. ABBOTT is a Unitarian. He is a member of Seneca Lodge No. 40, Free & Accepted Masons, of Milton; Kappa Sigma fraternity; and Phi Beta Kappa Society.
