(CLARK) KING. Educated in the public schools of Chateugay, Chateaugay Academy, and University of Vermont, M. D. 1893. Has practiced medicine and surgery at Isle La Motte since 1893. Is stockholder, director, and manager of Isle La Motte Telephone Company. Republican; represented Isle La Motte in the state legislature 1888; senator from Grand Isle County 1906; notary public ten years; town clerk eight years. Past master Isle La Motte Lodge No. 81, Free & Accepted Masons; past district deputy Eleventh Masonic District; past high priest Hill Chapter No. 14, Royal Arch Masons; member of St. Albans Commandery, Knights Templar; Mt. Sinai Temple, Mystic Shrine, Montpelier; Modern Woodmen of America, Camp No. 9922; and the Grange. In 1890 [James S. KING] married [Miss?] May M.
