John HORICAN, North Hero, was born 27 June 1876 at North Hero [Grand Isle 
County, Vermont], son of Giles and Helen (HAZEN) HORICAN. Educated in the 
public schools of North Hero; Swanton [Franklin County, Vermont] High School, 
class of 1892. Studied law with Hon. A. A. HALL of St. Albans [Franklin 
County], 1894-1896. Since 1896 has engaged in buying and selling stock of 
all kinds and farm produce, also follows farming and stock raising. States 
attorney 1904-1908. Member of Hill Chapter, Royal Arch Masons. In 1899 
[John HORICAN] married [Miss?] Annie TUDHOPE of North Hero [Grand Isle 
County, Vermont]; they have two children: Mark and Helen.
