CARON, physician and surgeon, South Hero [Grand Isle County, Vermont], was born [no date is given] in Louisville, Province of Quebec, Canada; son of Francois and Philomene (BELAND) CARON. He was educated in the public schools of Louisville, and at Joliette Seminary, Joliette, Province of Quebec, where he graduated in 1894, and at Laval University 1898. Dr. CARON began practice at Swanton [Franklin County, Vermont] in 1898, remaining three years. In 1901 removed to South Hero [Grand Isle County], continuing practice to date. Member of the Roman Catholic Church; for three years was physician for the Catholic Order of Foresters, at Swanton; member of the Montreal Medical Association; is physician and trustee of the Modern Woodmen of America at South Hero. In 1905 he [Dr. Napolean J. CARON] married [Miss?] Blanche BOUDREAU of St. Angele [Province of Quebec, Canada]; they have two children, Marie Marguerite Laurette and Joseph Raymond Maurice.
