This Indenture made between Henry Ott and Barbara his Wife
Later
Barbara Miller sole executor to the Last Will and Testament
of Jacob
Miller Decd and Wolrick Miller Eldest son and heir at Law
to the said
Jacob Miller all of the Parish and COunty of Frederick
in the Colony
of Virginia if the one part and Anthony Knisely
Senr Living in the
said County and COlony aforesaid of the other
part. Whereas the said
Jacob Miller in his lifetime said off
a great giant of a large Tract
of Land whereon he then lived in
Lots of half an acre each which has
by an act of the Gene
rally Assemby of the aforesaid colony been
erected into a town
by the name of Woodstock but before any
conveyances were made
He died and by his Last Will and Testament duly
Proved and
-?- in the court of the aforesaid county of Frederick did
Devise
to the above named Barbara his widow and Relied all the
Property
of his estate during her life the Reversion of which as
Least of
that part is Real Decends to the above Named Wolrick after
the
death of his mother and Heir at Law to the Testator his Father
and
Whereas also the above named Henry Ott and Barbara his Wife and
Wolrick Miller are willing and Desirous of continuing with
the
engagements of the said Testator entered into in his lifetime
by
making conveyances to those persons whoever purchased
any of the
aforesaid lots. This Indenture therefore Witnesseth
that the said
Henry Ott and Barbara his wife and Wolrick Miller,
for and in
consideration of the sum of two pounds paid to
the said Jacob Miller
in his lifetime and also for an in Considera
tion of Five Shilling to
them paid the Receipt whereof whereby
Acknowledged Have granted
bargained and paid and by this precint?
doth grant, bargain and sell
unto the said Anthony Knisely and

his Heirs and
assigns all that lot or half acre of land
commonly known and
distinguished by the number forty
Seven and bounded as by a Plan of
the Town as followeth
Viz: Beginning at a corner of Number forty six
thence
south 32 degrees w. six poles to the corner of Number
forty
eight thence North Fifty eight degrees w. thirteen poles
and half to
a post on Queen Street thence wth the said
street North thirty two
degrees. w. six poles to the corner
of forty six thence south fifty
eight degrees w. thirteen
poles and half to the place of Beginning
Containing
half and acre of Land which said Lot is part of a large
Tract of Land granted to the late Jacob Milled Deceased
by Deed from
the proprietors office of the Northern Neck of
Virginia dated the
second say of April one thousand
seven hundred and fifty two with all
Houses Buildings
Gardens Fences ways waters water courses Meadows
and all singular thereunto belonging to the appurtenances
or in any
ways appertaining To have and to hold the said
Lot Number forty seven
in the Town of Woodstock
and every part and Parcel thereof with its
appurtenances
unto the said Anthony Knisely his heirs and assigns
forever nevertheless to this previous condition that the
said Anthony
Knisely his heirs and assigns shall pay
or cause to be paid on the
Holy evangelist St Mark which is
the Twenty fifth day of April and so
on every year the
Twenty fifth the sum of Five shilling as Ground
Rent
for the said Lot Number Forty seven to the said Henry
Ott and
Barbara his wife sole executrix to the Last Will
and Testament of
^(the sd) Jacob Miller Deceased their Heirs
Executors Administrators
or assigns and Lastly that
the said Henry Ott and Barbara his wife
and Wolrick
Miller the said do hereby Bargained and Sold with all
singular hereunto belonging the apputenances unto the
said Anthony
Knisely his Heirs and assigns shall and
will

This Indenture was Acknowledged by Henry Ott and Barbara,
his wife
and Wolrick Miller the said Barbara being first Pri-
vately examined
as the Law directs and ordered to be Recorded
