Pauline "Grams" Helm, 89 of Floyd, went to her Heavenly Home
on Thursday, December 5, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Grams, as known to
many, will be sadly missed by family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7,
2013 at the Price Cemetery with the Rev. Clinton Crump officiating.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Skyline
Manor Nursing Home and Richfield Retirement Home for the care of our loved

Home, Blacksburg. Survivors are a sister, Wilma McDaniel, Floyd;
sister-in-law, Viola Huff, Floyd; several nieces and nephews. Funeral
services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Richard W. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the
funeral home. There will be no Saturday evening visitation.

(''Jimmy''), 55, of Floyd, passed away Thursday, September 14, 1995 at the
V.A. Medical Center in Salem. He is survived by three sons, Aaron Huff,
Carlton Huff, both of New York, Keith Stuart, Floyd; mother, Viola Stuart
Huff, Floyd; three sisters, Barbara Jean Hoover, Anna Louise Huff, Mrs.
Ronald (Clella Mae) Jackson, all of Columbus, Ohio; good friend, Ellenia
Lemons, Floyd; devoted uncle, Randolph Stuart, Roanoke; other uncles, aunts
and cousins. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 17, at the
Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Manuel Spencer officiating.
Burial will be in the Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends from
7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Maberry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Viola Stuart Huff, 86, of
Floyd, fell asleep in death Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Grant Hospital in
Columbus, Ohio. She was born November 19, 1920 in Floyd County, Virginia to
the late Arch and Clella Turner Stuart. She was also preceded in death by
her stepmother, Annie Mae Stuart; husband, Wheeler Huff; son, James Huff;
sister, Ella Mae Taylor; brother, Randolph Stuart. Survivors include her
children, Barbara Jean Hoover and friend Kenneth Bivens, Anna Louise Huff,
Clella Jackson and husband Ronald; cherished grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many close friends in Ohio and
Virginia. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the
Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Pastor Steve Norman officiating.
Interment will follow at Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends
from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

PRICE, Richard Lee, 70,
of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2000. He was born in Floyd County
to the late Willie Gus and Eliza Ross Price. He was faithful to his country
by serving in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Price retired
from the V. A. Medical Center after 25 years of dedicated service. He was
preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann and Geneva Price and two
brothers, Herbert and Roscoe Price. Survivors include his devoted wife,
Sarah E. Price; five children, Cecelia Ann Price, Washington, D.C., Mrs.
Gertrude Buckner, Mary E. Stuart, Robert T. Nance and Raymond L. Nance, all
of Roanoke; grandchildren, Hensel W. Lewis, III and Sharvon D. Stuart, both
of Roanoke; five sisters, Pauline Helms, Gertrude Turner, Annabell Price,
Floyd Co., Ora Lee Palmer, Niagara Falls and Ellen Stevenson, Benton
Harbor, MI.; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel. The
Rev. Clinton Crump will officiate and interment will be in the Price Family
Cemetery, Floyd County. Friends may call at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home on
Thursday for viewing.

Sarah E. Nance Price, 73,
of Roanoke, departed this life on Friday, June 18, 2004 after a long
illness at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Ms. Price was born to Joseph C. and
Sue Jennings Nance of Bedford County, Va. She is preceded in death by her
beloved husband, Richard L. Price; sister, Lula M. Nance; and eight
brothers, Eugene, Pete, Hubert, Charley, Lee, Emmett, George and Earl
Nance. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Stuart,
Gertrude (Richard) Buckner, Robert "Tyrone" Nance, Raymond L.
(Angela) Nance; one niece, Susie A. Nance of New York; two grandchildren,
Hensel W. Lewis III and Sharvon D. Stuart; three great-grandchildren; one
goddaughter, Danielle Napper; all of Roanoke; and a host of other relatives
and friends. Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at
Williams Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Johnson officiating.
The interment will be in Price Family Cemetery, Floyd Co., Va. The family
will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Friends may
call on Tuesday for viewing at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.

Jeanetter Reese was preceded in death by her
husband Willie F Reese, Sr.
She was also preceded by one step-son, her parents, grandparents, several
brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one brother, four step-children, two
daughters-in-law, two grandsons, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a
host of spiritual family in the Vinton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Jeanetter was a devoted daughter and step-mother as well as a loyal wife
for nearly 30 years. Being well organized and quite industrious, she
enjoyed sewing and delighted in cooking for others.
It was very important for her to maintain her independence for as long as
she was able. Even with the loss of her eyesight in later years, she still
maintained an active share in the field ministry and regular attendance at
Christian meetings.
Jeanetter found great joy in sharing the hope of God's Kingdom with others.
