Come now the complainant by Harvey
and Greg his solicitors and the said infant defendants by Simon L. Hadley
their guardian ad litem come also and submit this cause for determination to
the court upon bill, answer of the said infant defendants and by their said
guardian, and the default of the adult defendants, and the depositions of
William Crabb and Thomas Roy, taken by the complainant to be used by evidence
in this cause, and the court having fully examined and inspected the same and
being sufficiently advised in the same do order, adjudge and decree that the
said James Dickerson, Reid Dickerson, Ruel Dodson, Mary Dodson, Matthew
Dickerson, John Dickerson, Lewis Nausler, Sarah Nausler, Green Kennedy, Martha J. Kennedy, Polly E. Dickerson,
James A. Dickerson, Nancy S. Dickerson, William S. Dickerson, and Elijah
Dickerson at heirs at law and the said Rebecca Dickerson as the widow of the
said Griffith Dickerson be divested of all the right title, claim and
interest whether the same be legal or equitable which they had or now have in
and to the said West Half of the South East Quarter of Section Nineteen(19)
in Township Seventeen (17) North of Range One East containing 80 acres and
that the same vest in the complainant the said Griffith Dickerson, Dickerson
his heirs assigns forever as fully and absolutely to all intents and purposes
as the said Griffith Dickerson Senior who is now dead, had and held the same
before and at the time of his death. And it is further ordered, adjudged and decreed
upon the payment of the sum of thirty four dollars by the said complainant to
the Clerk of the Court for the use and benefit of the representatives and
heirs of Griffith Dickerson deceased. That James H. Greg who is appointed a
commissioner for that purpose, make execute and acknowledge a deed of
conveyance conveying the premises aforesaid to said complainant, his heirs
and assigns forever in fee simple and it is further ordered that the
commissioner make report of his proceedings at the next term until when this
case is continued. |

Griffith Dickerson Estate Comes now the administrator of said estate and files in
open court, an exhibit of said estate, per settlement of Sheet, in these
words (insert) sohereby it appears that said
administrator stands charged with the sum of two hundred and thirty one
dollars and eighty five cents as per inventory on file, and said
administrator claims credit by amount of property delivered to the widow of
said deceased, at its appraised value, and for debts, dues and demands by
said administration paid off and satisfied, and decrease? of sale of property
below appraisement, and for fees of administration, due the offices of
this court leaving in the hands of said administrator the sum of one dollar and
26 cents for his fees said administrator files in open court the vouchers
referred to in said exhibit, numbered from 1 to 20 inclusion which are
examined and approved by the court. The court after examining the
proceedings of the administrator herein find approves said estate has been
fully and fairly administered, and now here order that said administrator be

Kasia’s Notes: The land she assigned to Ruel Dodson, her son in law, was in
Illinois, Vermilion County. And dated 9/1/1853 and was warrant # 42720. Ruel Dodson was the husband of Griffith and Rebecca Thompson
Dickerson’s daughter Mary Dickerson Dodson. Pg. 144 Indiana Marriages 1811- 1959 May 3, Issued a License to Elijah Dickerson and Polly Dodson
and Ruel Dodson and Polly Dickerson. All having consent of Parents who have
since been joined in marriage as appears from the following certificate. Married by George Dodson Preacher of the Gospel Elijah Dickerson
