Carroll Co VA, his late residence, on Sunday evening, Dec 29, 1878. He was
therefore, 84 years, 4 months and 19 days old. He was one of the oldest
citizens in this part of the county. He settled here in the year 1812, and in
the same year started the war of that date but did not reach the scene of battle.
Mr. Quesinberry was a consistent member of the
Primitive Baptist Church for thirty years, filling the office of deacon
during the time and leading the life of a true and faithful follower of
Christ. To those who were with him a short time before his death said that he
was prepared to meet Him in peace. He leaves several children and many
relatives and friends to mourn his death. With a smile, he seemed to say:
"Oh, Grave, where is thy victory? Oh, Death, where is they sting."
