Hi Barb, In trying to figure out the Jonathan Iddings - Sarah Howery and Jonathan Jennings/Iddings - Sarah Howery mysteries I stumbled on to this tidbit you might be interested in: 1860 Kanawha Co. WV census:  #2240 is Jonathan Iddings 53, farmer; Hannah (Phares) 55; Abigail 14.  #2241 is Henry Iddings, 68, farmer with James McCoy family living with him.  *This sure looks to me like Henry B. Iddings III, whose wife Lydia [Wilson] is listed as HOH in 1860 FCVA and Henry was "thought to have died c. 1825”.]  Henry and Jonathan were brothers. Judie C. Nelson January 2004 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Barbara, As requested, I am sending further information on Henry Iddings who married Lydia Wilson. There is little doubt in my mind that the Henry Iddings of Montgomery & Floyd Cos., is the same one living in Kanawha Co., based on the family members who also came to Kanawha. Henry and Lydia must have separated or divorced, since he never returned to Floyd Co.  He probably died not long after 1870 in Kanawha Co., but I have not found a death record.  Will try to remember to check for an estate settlement when I go "home," and will let you know. My interest in the Iddings family began when I found that Edens' sometimes appear as Eddings in records - fueled by the fact that Henry Iddings is in Kanawha Co. where my Edens clan settled in the 1830s.  I've find no link between the two families but retain the records I've collected. On July 7th, I sent you a correction concerning Andrew Jackson Wood, son of Richard & Elizabeth (Dehart) Wood.  I would appreciate knowing if you received that email and attachment, and an acknowledgement upon receiving this one.  Reason being, I sent you an email some time ago on Henry Iddings, which you apparently did not receive, although it did not bounce.
