Their suggestion:
-------------------------
I believe this is Ellena V. Howell wife of Pleasant Howell of Virginia. You will find this entry in the 1900 Fulton Co. Census:

Elena V. Howell 61 b. Aug 1838 in VA , Widowed, mother of 7/ 5 living
Bessie H. Robertson 39 b. Nov. 1860 in VA, married daughter, mother of 4 all living
Annie R. Chatham 35 b. Nov. 1864 in VA, widowed daughter, mother of one living
Manny B. Chatham 8 b. Aug 1891 in GA, granddaughter
George P. Robinson 16 b. July 1889 in GA, grandson

I was able to trance this family back to Virginia in the 1860 Floyd VA Census. It appears Ellena was the second wife of Pleasant Howell.

Pleasant Howell was 66 in the 1880 Census of Floyd County, GA (Rome). He must have died before 1900. Since they lived in Rome, GA for some years, several of their children probably remained there.

This is an unmarked grave. The cemetery has been thoroughly searched and no marker was found for Ellena Howell.
