Corene is preceded in death by her parents and first husband, William Thomas Greer; her second husband, Herman Wade Lewis; two sisters, Beulah Walker and Cassie Storm; and two brothers, Earl and Russel Boyd. She is survived by a son, Pastor W. Paul Greer (Ginny); two daughters, Martha (Gene) and Beverly (Nick); five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; brother, Beauford Boyd; and three sisters, Alma, Edna "Peg", and Ellen. A celebration of Corene's life will be conducted at Main Street United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Clynmalira United Methodist Church Cemetery in Phoenix, Maryland. The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford.
