BOWER, Clinton Adron, 85, of Lexington, died Thursday, August 10, 2000, in the Stonewall Jackson Extended Care Facility. Mr. Bower was born on January 2, 1915, in Floyd Co., and was a son of the late Kyle Bower and Pearl Epperly Bower. He was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church and retired from Dean Food. Mr. Bower is survived by his wife, Josephine Little Bower, Lexington; one son, Thomas A. Bower and wife, Phyllis, Chesapeake; one grandchild, Rev. Randy J. Bower and wife, Sharon, Lynchburg; two great-grandchildren, Stacie and Dane Bower; and one nephew, Donald Bower and wife, Cathy, Vinton. Graveside services will be conducted at the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.

Paul Tabor Bower, 87, of Christiansburg, passed away June 24, 2007 after a long and joyful life. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Ronsvard Bower, Marvin Bower, Dorsey Junior Bower and his sister; Reva Grimes. He is survived by his loving wife Ardis Hollandsworth
Bower; his sister, Ruth Ellis of Roanoke; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Mr. Bower enjoyed square dancing, camping and traveling with his family and friends. Friends may call any time after 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at the Horne Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday evening. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2007, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The Bower family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg.
