Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Owens celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Tuesday at their home, 2214 Ogden avenue.
Colonel E. Owens and Nannie B. Armstrong were married in Stanberry, Mo., on February 14, 1883.
They moved to North Platte, Neb., where Mr. Owens was in the employ of the Union Pacific railway for twenty years. In 1903 he was transferred to Evanston, Wyo., where he resided two years and then the family came to Ogden. Mr. Owens is at present in the employ of the Western Pacific at Elko, Nev.
Mr. and Mrs. Owens received Tuesday afternoon and sixty-five friends called to offer their congratulations and best wishes.
