1985 letter to Genealogical Department (LDS Family History Library)

letter with bit of history
25 March 1985 Modena, Utah

To Whom it May Concern,

A year ago we took time out to map our little cemetery here at Modena, and
copy the information on the grave markers. So we wondered if this
information would be of any value to someone. Most of the people buried
were not members of the church (LDS Church) and relatives have long since
moved away. Modena is the train stop where President Lorenzo Snow came when
he made that trip to St. George, told about in "Windows of Heaven." It is
now almost a ghost town, but a few of we old timers hang on and try to keep
things in order.

Sincerely yours,
Edna A. Thorley
