China Wall

China Wall was a small gilsonite mining settlement located between the towns of Harrison and Watson. There were several nice homes built at China Wall in it's zenith, but it did not have it's own schoolhouse and the miner's children were sent to Watson for their schooling.

When Watson lost it's end-of-track status as a railroad town in 1917, China Wall was soon deserted and followed in Watson's footsteps on it's way to becoming a ghost town.
