Junction Women Demand Fresh
Produce!
July 12, 1941.
We, the women of Junction, herewith present this petition to the
Junction Town Board with the request that it may be given your
immediate attention, so that we may begin now to have advantages from
the removal of the license. We also desire that, if the license is
removed as we desire, that as much publicity be given to the act as
possible so that peddlers will come into our locality.
We, the undersigned women of the Town of Junction, do hereby
petition the Town Board of Junction to remove the tax and license
from fruit and vegetable peddlers selling in the Town of
Junction.
