Location: Spring Glen, Carbon County, Utah, Haycock Lane
Travel Directions: From Price go north on highway 6, turn right toward Spring Glen (directly across from the golf course). Drive 1/2 mile turn right and go under the underpass and go to the stop sign. Turn right, go 200 feet, turn left onto Haycock Lane. Go approximately one mile and the cemetery will be on the right.
The Haycock Family Cemetery was established in about 1890 by our immigrant great grandparents, Thomas William Haycock Sr., and Mary Ann Brindley. They came with their families in about 1833 from Brereton, Rugeley, Stafforshire, England. A renovation of the cemetery is currently in process. As we work on the grounds and learn more about the historical activitiy of the cemetery, we have become aware that it may be possible that there are many more graves than we realized earlier.
We consider this cemetery a very sacred place. We feel a deep responsibility to protect it and any grave sites of indiviudals buried there. The Haycock Family Cemetery is private property, as is the surrounding neighboring properties. We welcome visitors who come to respectfully visit grave sites. We welcome any additional information anyone may have to help identify any possible grave sites.
