In
The trail for information began with Deputy Sheriff Frank Bragg, to Mr.
Steve Dixon and Mrs. Arlisha Adams. Mr. Dixon
stated that his mother, Mrs. Rachel Dixon, (age 111 at death) told the story
that the Trinity County Lumber Company gave the land during the days of the
Civilian Conservation Corps of which he was a member. The cemetery was
named for Reverend D. A. Parker's wife. Mrs.
Adams, Secretary of the Parker Ridge Cemetery Association, added that the
Trinity County Lumber Company deed was dated 1928. The cemetery was first
used with Mrs. Parker's burial in 1931. Reverend Parker was the pastor of
