Services for Bennie Mae Wood, 93, of Brownfield will be held at 2 p.m.,
Thursday, Sept. 28, in Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with
Rev. G.M. Streun officiating. Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006 in Brownfield. She was born Aug. 25, 1913,
in San Angelo and was married to John Robert Wood on Dec. 14, 1935 in
Brownfield. He died on June 27, 1987.
Mrs. Wood moved with her family to Terry County at a young age. She
was a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by two sons--Randy and his wife--Rhonda of Brownfield and
Jimmy and his wife--Patsy of Martinsville, Va.; one brother--Doyle McCoy of
Oroville, Calif. and one sister--Clarice Taylor of Pampa.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren,
three great-great-grandchildren and a son-in-law--John Sundheimer of Wolfforth.
She was preceded in death by one daughter--Sue Sundheimer and by three brothers
and three sisters.
