                            Graveside services for Johnny Clive Winston, 101, of Brownfield, will be at
                            2 P.M. Friday, November 25, 2005, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with
                            Pete Curtis of Meadow officiating.   The service will be under the direction of
                            Brownfield Funeral Home.     He died Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at Brownfield
                            Regional Hospital.

                            Johnny was born September 15, 1904, in Beasley, Fort Bend County, Texas, to
                            John F. and Pauline Ashley Winston.    He moved in December 1909, at the age of 5,
                            to Brownfield where he lived until his death.   He graduated from Brownfield High
                            School on April 15, 1921.   His class of 4 included Alma Viola Holt, Mildred May
                            Burgess and Dr. T. L. "Lester" Treadaway.   He was a painter and partner with
                            "Satch" Green in the Brownfield area several years.   Johnny served in the Seabees
                            with the U. S. Navy in World War II and was overseas when his mother died.   He
                            married Lillian Moss on June 3rd, 1950.

                            He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lillian, and a stepson, Joe Dale Doak & wife,
                            Wanda, of Wylie; a step-granddaughter, Stefanie Moore and husband Steve, of
                            Garland; two nephews: E. A. "Bounce" Winston of Lexington, KY, and Johnny F.
                            Winston of Sonora, CA; two nieces: Marilyn Goldman of Los Angeles, CA, and
                            Glena Curtis of Meadow.    He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers:
                            Homer and Everett Winston; & two sisters: Lissie Jones and Vivian Winston.
