services for Dick Wilson, 83, of Brownfield were held at 11 a.m.
Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
He passed away Friday, February 18, 2011, in Brownfield. Dick was born February 27, 1927, in Sand Fork, West Virginia to Lawrence E. and Mabel Wilson. He graduated from Pullman High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from West Virginia University in Morgantown. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, spending time in Panama. Dick married Patricia Ann Metz on July 6, 1953, in Mannington, West Virginia. He was a Master Sales Representative for American Cyanamid Company and received the Master Sales Rep award at their annual national meeting, one of the most prestigious awards from their company. Dick is survived by two sons, Richard Clayton Wilson, Jr. and his wife Katie and Gregory Carl Wilson and his wife Lillie; seven grandchildren, Robert Wilson, Catherine Ann Wilson, Jennifer Wilson Bennett, Robert Louis Salas, Rachel Renee' Wilson, Brittni Marie Wilson and Beth Anne Wilson; nine great-grandchildren, Britney Wilson, Donte Flournoy, Blake McClure, Robert Wilson, Jr., Ronnie Jaden Wilson, Kiya Katy Wilson, Zoie Wilson, Preston Flournoy and Rebecca Louise Salas; and a brother, David Wilson. The family suggests memorials to the Church of the Good Shepherd, P. O. Box 334, Brownfield, TX 79316.
