Services for R. A. "Buddy" Willingham, 70, of Brownfield were held Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Brownfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Land officiating.    Burial was held Thursday, Jan. 17, in Burkburnett Cemetery.

Mr. Willingham died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at his home in Brownfield, surrounded by his family and friends.    He was born to George and Sophia Willingham on Feb. 28, 1937, in Birkburnett. He attended Burkburnett Schools.

Mr. Willingham married Jacqueline Partney on Nov. 2, 1956, in Pleasant Valley. They moved to Brownfield in 1964.   He was co-owner and operator of W. & R. Sheet Metal with partner Bill Russell.    He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother--Kenneth Willingham in 2005.   He is survived by his wife--Jacqueline of Brownfield; two daughters--De'Andra Kirk and her husband--Keith of Mansfield and Vonda Cox and her husband--Lyle of Graham.   He is also survived by five grandchildren--Andrea, John, and Kristin Kirk, Shannon Harris, and Stephanie Laymon and one great grandchild--Kailee Hopson.

Mr. Willingham is also survived by three brothers--Tommy of Wellborn, Leon of Las Vegas, N.V. and Steve of Portland and one sister--Linda Baldridge of Richardson.
