Williams, 79, of Brownfield passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at
Brownfield Rehab Nursing Home. She was born July 10, 1932, to Willie
and Beatrice Washington Brown-Williams. Preceded in death by her
husband, James Fininen; two sons, Charles Fininen and Elroy
Williams; one daughter, Linda Louise Hardin; and two brothers,
Harvey Williams and Bobby L. King. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Jessie Fininen (Christine), Sylvester Fininen and James Fininen; two daughters, Gloria Hardin and Katherine Fininen; one brother, Willie Williams Jr. (Ella Faye); two sisters, Thama Ruth Harrison and Doris Louise Scales-Dawson (Tim); sister-in-law, Reth Williams; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Brownfield. Interment will follow Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Family will receive friends from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary. |
