Bullard Jeter White, 96, passed away Friday, May 11, 2007, in
Lubbock. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the
Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds officiating. Lela was born on June 18, 1910, in Johnson County, Texas, to Samuel and Sarah Bullard. She was raised in Lamesa. She was a lifelong member of the Brownfield Church of Christ.
She married W.W.
Jeter in 1925 in Lamesa where they farmed and owned a lumberyard. He
preceded her in death on September 13, 1965. She then married P. J.
White on October 10, 1974, in Brownfield. He preceded her in
death on April 23, 1986. |
