82, of Brownfield passed away Monday, August 3, 2009, in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 6, at First Baptist
Church Chapel in Brownfield with David Rowan officiating. Interment will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Norma was born on March 6, 1927, in Needmore, Texas to J.W. and Vera Bingham. She graduated from Meadow High School. She married Alton West on October 30, 1945 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2003. Norma was a homemaker. She is also
preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Joshua Rowan
in 2001. She is survived by two daughters, Annetta
Gibson and husband Dale of Lubbock and Barbara Smith and husband
Gary of Brownfield; a son, Ken West and wife Pam of Houston; two
brothers, Don Bingham and Eddie Bingham of Meadow; a sister, Junell
Verner of Bowie; numerous nieces and nephews. |
