Rites In Wellman Set
For Leukemia Victim

Funeral services
for Linda Jean
Welcher, 3-years
old, who died in
Baylor hospital in
Dallas, were to be
held at 2 p.m.
today in the Wellman
High School
auditorium.
The young child
was the daughter of
Mr. And Mrs. Jimmy
Welcher of Wellman.
She had been ill for
three months and her
death was the result
of leukemia.
Rev. J. M.
Morton, Wellman
Methodist pastor,
was to officiate.
Interment was to be
in Terry county
cemetery under
direction of
Brownfield Funeral
Home.
Survivors include
the parents; one
sister, Deanie
Cheryl; grandparents
Mr. and Mrs. W. C.
Welcher, all of
Wellman, and Mrs.
Pauline Stell, of
Atlanta, Ga.; great
grandparents Mr. and
Mrs. J. A. Bass of
Wellman and Mrs.
Mattie Welcher,
Brownfield.
