| Services for Joe Weatherman, 75, of Brownfield will be at 10
a.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, at Living Water Foursquare Church with
Pastor John Paul Bautista officiating. Burial will be in
Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield
Funeral Home. Mr. Weatherman passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, in Tahoka. He was born Dec. 27, 1931, in Lubbock and attended Lubbock High School. He married Camilla Sosebee Davis, Oct. 5, 1981 in Ruidoso, N.M. She preceded him in death June 5, 2006. Mr. Weatherman was employed with General Telephone Company in Brownfield for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion for 46 years. He was a member of the Living Water Foursquare Church in Brownfield. He is preceded in death by a sister--Nora Lumpkin. He is survived by one son--Brian Weatherman of Ft. Worth; three step sons--Mike Davis of Duncanville and Ronnie Gordon and Pete Gordon, both of Texarkana and one step daughter--Shannon Cox of Tahoka. He is also survived by one sister--Martha Christy of Big Spring; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mr. Weatherman will be in state from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday Nov. 23 at the Brownfield Funeral Home.
