for Lester E. Warren, 61, of Brownfield will be at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, Jan. 22, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter
officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Burial will take
place at Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral
Chapels. Mr. Warren passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009. He was born on August 14, 1947 in Oklahoma and moved to Brownfield in 1982. On April 11, 1991, he married Virginia Cruz. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Clifford and Kathryn Warren, and a brother, Clifford Warren. Mr. Warren served in the Vietnam War during the Tet Offensive in 1968 and received his honorable discharge the same year. He was also a member of the Brownfield evening Lions Club. Survivors include his children, Alyssa Deyoe, Callie Rudnick, Will Warren, Amber Warren, Adolfo Warren, Alexis Cruz, Cristina Cruz, Amy Sifuentez, Marcelino, Nathan, Adolfo Perez and Fabian Rivera; 13 grandchildren; five sisters, Fay Carrol and her husband James of Colbert, Okla., Helen(Jr.) Davis and Janice Anderson of Blair, Okla., Avis Winters and her husband Dan of Oklahoma City, Okla., Dena Timbrook and her husband Lew of Warren, Okla.; three brothers, Ralph Warren and his wife Janice of Duke, Okla., Delbert Warren and his wife Margaret of Lawton, Okla., and Rodney Warren and his wife Joie of Brownfield.
