Faye Rose Warren, 83, formerly of Brownfield and Wolfforth will be
at 2 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2011, at Wolfforth First Baptist
Church with Rev. Mark McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Terry
County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral
Home. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Faye passed away Thursday, October 21, 2011, in Lubbock. She was born February 18, 1928, in Whitney to John Riley and Elizabeth McDonald Rose. She and her family moved to Brownfield when she was in her early teens. She attended Brownfield and Wellman schools. Faye married James W. "Wink" Warren on September 17, 1946, in Brownfield. She was a member of Wolfforth First Baptist Church. Faye was preceded in death by a grandchild, Sarah "Sadie" Rose Warren; two sisters, Gladys Keener and Christine Purvis; and four brothers, John Allen, Herschel "Que", Donald Ray and Ed Rose. Faye is survived by her husband, James W. "Wink" Warren of Lubbock; two sons, John Warren and wife Viki of Austin and Wiatt Warren and wife Pat of Wimberley; a daughter, Terri Howard of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters, Inez Turner, Irene Winslett, Nina Depoyster, Mark Rose, Mary Nell Young and Bob Rose.
