Maria Guadalupe "Lupe" Villarreal, 69, of Brownfield were held
Saturday, Jan. 24, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Rudy
Crasta officiating. Lupe passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, in Brownfield. She was born on Nov. 4, 1939, in Alice to Manuel and Enriqueta Perez. She moved as a child to Brownfield, where she was a resident for 64 years. She married Librado "Lee" Villarreal in 1955 in Brownfield. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Lupe is survived by her husband, Lee Villarreal of Brownfield; four daughters, Elma Medina and her husband Ruben of Round Rock, Martha Gallegos and her husband Raul of Ponder, Irma Villarreal Del Valle and her husband Alfredo of Round Rock, and Marie Finke and her husband Casey of Denton; two sons, Ruben Villarreal and his wife Becky of Leander, and Rick Villarreal of McKinney; 12 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great granddaughter; her brother, Manuel Perez, Jr. and his wife Francis of Brownfield; four nephews and four nieces.
