75, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2008, in Brownfield. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in Brownfield. The Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 30 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will follow in Brownfield Cemetery. Mrs. Vigil was born May 24, 1933, in Knox City, Texas, to Manuel and Perta Zamora. She attended school in Knox City. She moved to Wichita Falls in 1960 and then to Brownfield in 1972. On July 31, 1971, she married Jose F. Vigil in Wichita Falls. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2000. The family of Ana remember her as a person who loved church. She was a member of the Guadalupanas and minister of Eucharist. She attended a church conference each and every year. Ana also loved arts, crafts, making floral arrangements and collecting all types of angels. And she was a volunteer at the nursing home. Those left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Roseana Blair and husband Allen of San Antonio, one sister, Asencica Zamora of Brownfield and three grandchildren.
