                       Veronica Brown, 19, of Brownfield, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2005, at
                        the Brownfield Regional Medical Center.    Veronica was born on May 24, 1986,
                        to Alvin McVea and Barbara Brown in Brownfield.   She was a student in the
                        Brownfield Independent Schools.

                        She is survived by her parents, Alvin and Barbara, Maternal Grandmother, Velma
                        Brown of Brownfield; one sister, Nicole Brown of Brownfield; four step-sisters -
                        Tassa Cummings of Brownfield, Shaunta Wesley of Denver, CO, and Clai Sadra
                        and Deasha Turner, both of Dallas; and one step-brother, Aaron McVea of Abilene;
                        and one nephew, Ashuda McVea.

                        She was preceded in death by her paternal Grandparents, Helen and Fred Carter;
                        one uncle, Gary Carter, and her Maternal Grandfather, Roy Brown.

                         Services for Veronica will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2005, at the Greater
                         New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Reed officiating and Rev. Michael
                         Hudson assisting.   Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brownfield.
