Services for Annette Lea Van Der Vlist, 47, of Brownfield were held
Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel
with Rev. Bob Highley and Rev. Johnny Long officiating. Burial was
in
Meadow Cemetery in Meadow.
Mrs. Van Der Vlist died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in Brownfield. She
was
born Oct. 7, 1959, in Odessa to Lewis and Ona Stowe and was married to
Richard Van Der Vlist on June 29, 1981, in Abilene. She attended school in
Brownfield.
Mrs. Van Der Vlist owned and operated Movie Warehouse and Tips, Toes
& Tans. She was also an activity director at several nursing homes.
She was
a past member of the Brownfield Evening Lions Club and was a member of the
Faith Chapel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Van Der Vlist is survived by her husband; one daughter---Wynona Stowe;
one grandson---Richard David Stowe; her mother---Ona Stowe; three
sisters---Sharon Kimbrell, Ruby Dyer and Patricia Couch and one brother---
Lewis Davis Stowe, Jr.
