Services for Martha Louise Tyler, 94, of Meadow will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011, in the Meadow Cemetery with Rev. Leslie Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadow Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.   Louise passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, in Lubbock, TX.

She was born October 2, 1917, in Decatur, TX to Henry Claude Boyd and Artie Mae Tucker and attended and graduated from High School there in Decatur.     Louise married Charles C. Tyler, July 1, 1939, in Cottle County, Texas.   In 1940, they moved to Terry County.

Louise was a member and organist for the Meadow Methodist Church for over 30 years and the couple farmed in the Meadow area for more than 45 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, three sons, Jerry, Keith, and Mitchell Tyler; two brothers Grady and J. R. Boyd; two sisters Doris Norine Boyd and Mary C. Boyd.

Louise is survived by two daughters-in-law, Sandra Tyler of Lubbock and Susie Tyler of Austin; three grandchildren, Stefanie Wornell and husband Jason of Pflugerville, David Page of Corsicana, and Dane Burdine and his wife Teresa of Ransom Canyon; four great-grandchildren, Justin and Addison Wornell of Pflugerville, Brittany and Chelsea Burdine of Ransom Canyon; Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law Wanda and Keller Greenfield of Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.
