Maudie Nell Thomason, 74, formerly of Brownfield will be held at 3
pm Wed., Dec. 27, 2006, at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel
with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Interment will be in the Terry
County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral
Home. Nell passed away Sat. Dec. 23, 2006, in Garland. She was born Dec. 19, 1932, in Ropesville and moved to Brownfield in 1962. She and Wilton Thomason were married for 23 years. He preceded her in death in 2002. Nell was a member of Anson First Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Wright of Forney; two sons, Danny Gibbs and Tony Gibbs both of Garland; two sisters, Mary Lee McCaghren of Bryan and Evelynn Goode of Lubbock; two brothers, Homer Lackey of Bryan and John Dee Lackey of Roswell; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
