services for Ray Eugene 'Gene' Taylor, 84, of Brownfield were held
Thursday, Jan. 11, in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Larry Burton
officiating. Mr. Taylor died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007. He was born March 16, 1922, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Howard and Celester Clinger Taylor. He had been married to Pauline Taylor for more than 40 years. He was a World War II veteran and had been an active member of the the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows for many years. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife---Pauline Taylor of Brownfield; two sons---Michael Taylor and his wife---Connie, and Stephen Taylor, and one daughter---Jean Biernachi and her husband---Phillip. He is also survived by four brothers, five sisters, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one special sister-in-law---Faye Garner of Spur. Memorial may be made to the Spur Memorial Cemetery, Box 111, Spur, 79370 or to a charity of your choice.
