Obituary for Mable C. Switzer

Mable Catherine Switzer, 90, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008, in
Brownfield. A Graveside service was held Aug. 23 at Terry County Cemetery in Brownfield with Pastor Chris Seaton officiating.

Mable was born June 4, 1918, to John and Alma Mae Young in Grant, Okla. She moved to Brownfield in 1924 from Fisher County. She was a member of the Shady Oak Church of God and loved playing the piano & singing. She also loved to work in her garden.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters; Deloris Browning of
Denver City and Wanda Parker of Brownfield. She also leaves behind four
grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry Dale Switzer; one
brother, Johnny Young; and three sisters, Dorothy Faught, Verda Johnson,
and Jessie Barns.

Personal services are being provided by Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of
Brownfield.
