| Services for Guadalupe Suarez, 90, of
Brownfield were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct.1, 2008, at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating.
Burial was in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield
Funeral Home. Guadalupe passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, in Lubbock. She was born Sept. 16, 1918, in Corsicana to Cecilio and Lucia Reyna. She married Adam Paiz Suarez on May 4, 1940, in San Patricio. He preceded her in death in 1982. They moved from O'Donnell to Brownfield in 1959. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She is also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister, all of Mathis. Guadalupe is survived by a sister, Chana Perez of Levelland; and three daughters, Cecilia Suarez and Dominga Suarez of Brownfield and San Juanita Rocha and her husband Avel of Meadow; three grandchildren, Flora Suarez of Brownfield, Juan Suarez and wife Nancy of San Antonio and Julio Suarez of Brownfield; two great-grandchildren, Enrique and Maddielynn Suarez of Brownfield; three step-grandchildren, Abel, Johnny and Vicki; and four step great-grandchildren.
