Martha Elizabeth Stevens, 56, of Brownfield were held at 10:30 am,
Tuesday, March 25, at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds
officiating. Burial was in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the
direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Martha passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008, at her home in Brownfield. She was born August 26, 1951, in Levelland, TX to W. D. and Pauline Ford Rodgers. She graduated from Levelland High School. She married Gary Stevens July 26, 1981, in Brownfield. They moved to Brownfield in 1982. She owned and operated Martha's Beauty Shop in Brownfield. She was presently employed with Brownfield Rehab and Care Center. She was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ. Martha is preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her husband, Gary of Brownfield; two sons, Brad Dodson and his wife Yvette and Shawn Dobson and his wife Marti all of Queen Creek, AZ.; six grandchildren, who loved their "MEME" very much, Johnathan, Kyle, Micah, Kristen, Blake and Dylan; her father, W. D. Rodgers of Levelland; a sister Brenda Wells of Levelland; two brothers, Brad Rodgers of Lubbock and Joey Rodgers of Brownfield. Martha will live in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
