services for William "Bill" Standifer, 69, of Brownfield will be 10
a.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel
with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Mr. Standifer passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at his home in Brownfield. He was born Sept. 19, 1938, in Ft. Stockton and attended Ft. Stockton schools. He had served in the army. He moved to Brownfield in 1967. He married Elsie Drake, Nov. 11, 1961. She preceded him in death Nov. 15, 1999. He then married Dean McKinley, Oct. 6, 2007, in Brownfield. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife--Dean of Brownfield; one daughter--Nona Kumpe of Frisco; two grandchildren--Steven Kumpe of Little Elm and Jennifer Kumpe of Frisco and two great grandchildren, Savanah and Jarred Kumpe of Little Elm.
