services for Theda Ruth Spradling, 75, of Brownfield were held at 2
p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Calvary Baptist Church with
Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Services were under the direction of
Brownfield Funeral Home. Theda passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011, in Lubbock. She was born October 10, 1935, to Jasper Dewitt and Ella Earl Stafford. She graduated from Brownfield High School in 1952. She worked at GTE and then Goodpasture before moving to Arkansas. She then moved back to Brownfield in 1989 and worked for CCA until retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents. Theda is survived by two sons, Rick Wagner and wife Kay of Rogers, Ark., and Butch Wagner and wife Kaye of Brownfield; and a grandson, Bryce Wagner and fiance Alyssa Coats of Brownfield. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church Elevator Fund. Brownfield News |
